Suzuki (or perhaps Stille) coupling would be a better approach I think.

Yes chlorobenzene is inert to AlCl3 and sometimes is used as solvent for some Friedel Crafts reactions.

Impossible, As Dan said, Suzuki coupling is a good selection.
