Jobs in a basic chemical plant
« on: April 07, 2007, 07:15:15 PM »
I have to do a detailed cost analysis of a chemical plants am ok for material units runing etc. costs, but I have to do stafing cost as well but im stuck with what jobs are on the plant, i'm going to predict approx. 100 staff for the plant as it is already next to another plant which has quite a few services. So far I got

Office
Labs
Control people
Security
Kitchens
Maintance
Cleaners

Carnt really think of any more without sounding a bit to far out.

Thanks loads.

Hi moleman1985,

The only one I can immediately think of is:  Safety/training/EH&S

This may be one position or a few, depending on the size of the plant.

Cheers,

Eugene

There is a difference between Production control and Quality Control
If this were a stand-alone company would they need
Sales
Purchasing
Information Technology
or do you consider them Office?

When you generalize the topics you may lose track of what you need.
