HBr in Aqueous Solution
« on: April 27, 2007, 06:39:59 PM »
Calculate the pH of 4.1x10-8M HBr in an aqueous solution.

This problem, if done by assuming complete dissociation and then using the pH=-log[H+] formula gives a pH of greater than 7.  I was just wondering how someone else would do it.
