What is the relative error in concentration from UV-Visible spectroscropic analysis of a solution of 1.2 x 10-5 M with minor absorptivity equals to 2.0 x 104 cm-1 M-1 held in a 1.00 cm cell, if there is 1.0% stray radiation exist.
A = abc
= 2.0 x 104 x 1 x 1.2 x 10-5 = 0.24
A = -log (I/Io) = 0.24
But how can I can calculate the relative error in concentration if there is 1.0% stray radiation exist?
Is it equal to Relative Error = 2.0 x 104 x 1.0% = 20 M?
Thank you!
