I have to do a presentation on the Claus process and for the life of me I can not find out who originally developed it. I have been told it was Carl Friedrich Claus but I can not find out any info on him. Can anyone help me?

Claus process, developed by London chemist Carl Friedrich Claus in 1883, is used to recover elementary sulfur from hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) in gases.
