Hi ,, I am 25 years removed from my high school Chem lab ,, I need a little help with setting up a titration of NH4oh ,,,, I need to have a solution of 32% by weight of NH3 in h20 . ( I bubble in anhydrous ammonia into a commercially available 29% solution to get to my 32% , I use a chart to compare the s/g to verify that I have a 32% solution . I also cool the solution to 15c and draw off a 100 ml into a volumetric flask and weigh on a balance for a cross check .)
I believe the titration would be more accurate than my previous means. If any one has an idea of what acid , the acid concentration, and the best indicator for this application, also walk me through the equation / the math, so I can arrive at a mole concentration , I believe I can work this to % by weight . I have access to the lab glass ware and any tools I may need ... thanks Frig man
