Partial pressure (two phases)

Looking for an easy answer...

How do I calculate partial pressure of one component in gas phase, if there are gas phase and liquid phase? Do I use total pressure (of both phases) in the calculation or only the total pressure of the gas phase? Im confused  ???

At equilibrium, the partial pressure of the gas will be equal to the vapor pressure of the substance.
