Hello
I have a special piece filled with a liquid that I must lock up in a container to prevent the liquid from drying out, for it is not possible to hermetically close the piece. This is why on the bottom of the container is some water so the air of the container is very humid and the liquid in the piece is not drying out. The only problem is that with time there are microorganisms developping in the container attacking some sensible parts of the piece. This is why I am wondering if there is some disinficting substance preventing this. I tried out salt but this is drying out the air and therefore the luiquid. Chlorin is attackin the metal parts of the piece. Furthermore, the disinfectant must not only disinfect the water on the bottom of the container but also the the air in it otherwise microorganims can develop on the walls of the container and on the piece, which does not touch the water. So I guess that the disinfectant must be a luiquid too, evaporating in the container and disinfecting its air. This sounds a bit complicate but I dont know how to explain it better. If there is a specialist in disinfectants out there please tell me what to take. Tank you very much
