ERICH Huckel's theory

i have a project on Erich huckel but i do not understand his theorys...  i found the Debye-huckel theory and another one but it just seems like another language... *delete me*!!

We answer questions, not explain whole breaths of work for you to turn in. Pick something in the theory you don't know and we'll try to explain it.

i mean not to plagerise those who's minds are much more complex than mine. i have been online for hours trying to figure out what Erich Huckels biggest claim to fame is. I have found his name in tons of diffrent sites for a hundred diffrent reason and do not understand which direction to go in.
please help me. i dont understand these big words that they use and i dont know which theroy i should go to.

The internet is a great place to learn many things, but as of yet it is still a poor place to learn modern science theories. Go to a near by science library and read any book dealing with "Physical Organic Chemistry" and Huckel theory will be a chapter in it.

i have gone to my local libaray but i havent found anything on erich huckel. i have looked in the indext of every book about science... *delete me*!!

You have to go to a science library. Any university near you will have a science library.

alright i think i finaly am on my way

HÜCKELS RULE SAYS- Cyclic planar molules in which each of the atoms have a "p" orbit are aromatic if the contain 4n=2 pi electrons

aromatic means that it containing one or
more six-carbon rings

i think that's it... please tell me if im missing anything

No, it need not be six carbon ring.  There can be various ring sizes as long as the pi electrons add to 4n+2.

Antiaromatic "4n"

Check out the article to your right titled "Annulene" I wrote it and it may be of some interest now that you know a little more about Huckel theory.
