« on: October 16, 2010, 07:14:23 AM »
Hello,

Bisphenol a has been a hot topic these years. However, the general discussion about this thing is only about its health harzards. I wonder if anyone can provide me with the mechanism of how bisphenol a actually works in making plastics. I have searched for long but there is no answer. I will be very greatful if you can answer my problem.

This is not a direct answer, but perhaps that will help you start:

I recall reading a page on epoxy resins/adhesives that addressed the question in more details, but I can't locate it right now.
