Hi guys
I really need to understand the numbers at the electron state configuration.
Here at this page (from wiki) :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helium-neon_laser
The use number in lower right and upper left corners. Could someone explain to me please what those mean?

Never mind guys, I came to realize that there is a difference between atom configuration and term symbolics.
It is all clear now.
Thanks.
