Hi. Was trying to make solutions or emulsions for cosmetic purposes and have found that when dissolving lipid-soluble substances there was no unpleasant sticky factor upon drying whereas when water-soluble substances were present in sufficient quantities the substance would dry with an unpleasant sticky residue. This was particularly noticeable in regards to coming in contact with hair. Is there any way to negate this effect? Would some kind of surfactant perhaps help? The solvent is water/ethanol.
Thanks.
