Concentration cells
« on: September 24, 2007, 05:36:22 AM »
Pt/Sn2+(aq,0.24 M),Sn4+(aq,0.12 M)//Sn4+(aq,0.032 M),Sn2+(aq,0.007 M)/Pt
If the standard potential for the Sn4+/Sn2+ couple is 0.150 V, calculate the cell voltage at 25°C for the cell as written.

my answer:
E0cell=Ecell - RT/nF[lnQ]
= 0.150 - 8.314x298/2x96485xln{ [0.12x0.007] / [0.24x0.032]}

the answer is supposed to be from the textbook 0.0284V, can someone please tell me as to how to get this answer
