Ok, so I have this problem on my homework, and I have no idea where to start to solve this problem.
9.5 grams of SO2 was placed in water in order to determine the molarity of a KMnO4 solution. If it required 38.56 ml of the KMnO4 solution to completely react with the 9.5 grams of SO2 , what was the molarity of the KMnO4 ?
5 SO2 + 2 MnO4-1 + 2 H2 ---> 5 SO4-2 + 2 Mn+2+ 4 H+1
