Zn(NO3)2 + NH3 = ?
« on: September 24, 2007, 12:38:24 PM »
my chemistry lab performed a experiment where we mixed Zn(NO3)2 with NH3. A precipitate formed. Can anyone fill in the products of the reaction?

Also, when we added NH4OH, the precipitate dissoved. What would be the product for this second part?
