Major Ions in an aqueous HNO3 solution
« on: September 25, 2007, 06:53:14 PM »
Once again I'm here in aqueous solutions....

My presumtion is that the major Ions in an aqueous HNO3 (Nitric Acid) solution is H+ and NO3-. If anyone can help me out here, I once again appreciate it.

Yup.  HNO3 is a strong acid and dissociates completely into H+ and NO3-.
