Hello friends
I need possible information about silicon , I mean the silcon
which use as sealant :
1- what is its chemical composition
2- in some of its types it called acetoxy sililcon selant? haw the manufacturing it
3- any one know the conditions of the following reaction :

SiO2 + 2C ---------> Si + 2CO

any more information about this kind of silicones will be greatful
