I still don't understand these Net Ionic Equations:(
« on: October 04, 2007, 03:01:54 PM »
If you placed 5 drops of 0.20 M Aluminum nitrate in a 10 mL centrifuge tube and then add 3.0 M of aqueous ammonia solution dropwise, with stirring, until precipitation is complete what is the Net Ionic Equation of this? I have a general understanding of NIE's but this one has just stumped me if some one could explain this that would be amazing. Thank you:)

A chemical equation would be a good start.
