quick question
« on: October 15, 2007, 01:02:09 PM »
Consider the solubility of V 3+ and VO 2+. At what pH will [ V 3+ ] = [VO 2+ ]?
M(OH)n <=> Mn + + nOH -

how is vandium and vandium oxide related here, i just dont see how that would be, i know i have to use the henderson bach queation
pH=pKa + Log(V/VO)
  V(OH)3 = VO(OH)2

Vanadyl cation VO2+ is not oxide.
