In order to test the factors that affect the rate of reaction of an acid, I was thinking to focus on temperature (heat) and concentration of the acid (HCL and HSO4) (dilluted in H2O)). Then taking peices of a common metal and placing into a small test tube with the acid.
I'm not sure if this is the best way to do this.
Also I'm not sure if the acid will have immediate effects. If that happens, how can rate be measured? Even if it does not have immediate effects, I'm not sure what to do.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
