Kb for conjugate base of a monoprotic acid
« on: October 23, 2007, 10:29:07 PM »
A 0.015M solution of an unknown acid was diluted from 10ml to 250ml. The pH of the diluted solution was determined to be 5.39. If the substance is a monoprotic acid, what must the Kb for its conjugate base be?

That is a nice question.
Care to at least attempt to answer it first?
