One question left on an element scavenger hunt!

I can't seem to figure out if my teacher worded this incorrectly or not, but I have one question left on a worksheet:

Which alkali metal is vaporized and used in lightning?

It could be worded incorrectly, because the only element I could come up with was carbon, and it's not an alkali metal!
