Hey everyone.
The question reads:
"Bakelite is a hard, rigid plastic that is used in the handles of kitchen cupboards and some pots and pans. Orlon is a polymer that is commonly used in clothing. How might the structural bonding of these polymers differ?"
All that comes to mind is that plastics have strong bonds, and that the Orlon is more flexible than the Bakelite.
Does that suffice a 2 mark question? I really cannot come up with an answer.
Thank you.
