HI my name is Gardinia and I am a Regestered Nurse, who has just obtained a position in a rehab unit and I need to know how to convert mgm to gms. It's been a long time since I have done this. Could you show me how to do this?

You're propably talking about MICROgrams.
1000 micrograms = 1 milligram
1000 milligrams = 1 gram
so one microgram is one millionth of a gram.

use google's calc function:
type:
## micrograms in grams
substituting ## for your numerical value
