Solubility of group 2A salts
« on: November 14, 2007, 06:49:01 PM »
Hi,
- what are the factors that influence solubility?
- Metal ions to be tested exist as soluble salts of the same negative ion. Why are these salts more soluble?
- how does the electronegativity, electron affinity and ionization energies explain why precipitates form as we go down the 2A group?
sort of confused. ???

thanks
