I heard somewhere that chlorine can be made from bleach. How is this done? (I know chlorine is poisonous, I just want a little bit for an element sample.)

If there is an easier way to make chlorine without bleach, I would like to know about it.

Typically, I believe that HCl is added to bleach to release chlorine, though you may get some ClO2 as well.
