Online PChem tutorials?
« on: December 05, 2007, 06:17:36 AM »
I hope this isn't off-topic, but I'm curious if anyone knows of good sites that give step-by-steps of Physical Chemistry problems (particularly Thermodymanics or Free Energy problems). Neither the prof or the textbook is very helpful when it comes to giving detailed examples of problems...maybe some of you have some good online resources you use?

Your best bet would be to check out your schools library and look at some other books, and specifically look for solutions manuals to your book (or other books) to see a bunch of worked problems and such.

Check your library for Physical Chemistry by Ira Levine.  Very informative book with step by step derivatization and examples.  No BS.

I went to the library today (before I checked this thread). I checked out another book, but I'm pretty sure I saw a book by Levine.

Hopefully...
