I've got a data sheet on MEA-Sulfite that has a 'reducing activity meq/gm of 6.7-7.3.' Can anyone simplify this for me? Thanks for any *delete me*

don't quite understand the "reducing activity" bit, but the unit suggests some sort of exchange capacity.
