Calculating concentrations
« on: December 15, 2007, 06:54:55 AM »
Hello everyone!

I'm trying to solve some questions my teacher asked me to and I  have doubts on 2 of them:
If I mix 200µl of Piruvat (6mM) with 100µl of a buffer, what's the concentration of the Piruvat in that mixture?

And just another question: if I put 1g of a tissue and I disolve it in 25ml of buffer, what's the % (mass/volume)? 4%?

Thank you!

Assuming volume didn't change. You can't be sure. But most likely you are OK.
