Yes this is cold fusion... but the paper quantifies high energy particles emitted from a cold fusion electrochemical experiment. 

It measures particles rather than excess heat.  It seems to me that it is a lot harder to discount particle hits than heat measurements.  Anyone care to take a stab at it?

Pretty interesting experimental results.  What are possible sources of particle tracks that aren't accounted for by the experimenters?

PS Arguments about the theoretical impossibility of this result are interesting but will not make the particle tracks disappear.

The typical response has been tritium impurity or some other impurity or background radiation.
