Prepare 1 L of a solution containing 1.0 ppm Fe+2. How many grams Ferrous ammonium sulfate, FeS04*(NH4)2S04*6H2O, must be dissolved and diluted in 1 L? What would be the molarity of this solution? So confusing with the ppm. Help please. thanks.

Step1: Calculate the Fwt of the hexahydrate.
1 ppm solution is 1 ppm = 10^6 (million) or 1 mg/ 1 kg solution (1 liter) or 1 mg/L
1M = gfw X/L
Step 2: Then set up your conversion
gfw FeS04*(NH4)2S04*6H2O/1 Mole x 1 Mole Fe2+/1Mole FeS04*(NH4)2S04*6H2O x think you can figure it out from there???
