Hello
Im working with my finalexamination project. In this project, we observe that when we add NaCl to the solution, less dioxygen can dissolve, why is this?
We know that more NaCl will increase the entropi making more disorder. Does more disorder mean that less watermolecules will surround the dioxygenmolecules which will lead to less solubility?
We have also talked about that higher NaCl-concentration mean less "pockets" for dioxygen, because the water will more likely dissolve NaCl rather than dioxygen.
Is there an equation or something where this is described, or can someone confirm if we have the right thoughts
Thx in advice
