n-hexane into benzene. Catalytic reaction coolants
« on: January 23, 2008, 03:57:13 PM »
Hello people,

I have a question. I have a catalytic reaction:

n-hexane ----------> benzene  +4H2

The initial temperature for the n-hexane is 400oCelcius.

The thing is that after the reaction I have to keep the same temperature. 400oCelcius. So I need to find different coolants.

The flow of the n-hexane is 500 Kmol/hour, and the coolant can't excede 100,000 Kilograms/hr.

Thanks for any help you can give me on this!!
