1. why is sodium acetate preferred to sodium hydroxide in the conversion of anilinium hydrochloride to acetanilide?
2. why is analine soluble in hcl but acetanilide is not?

What is NaOH?  If you mix this with anilinium chloride, what will more likely happen?
