Hi, I was wondering: is it possible for a LUMO to have lower energy than a HOMO
For example, the LUMO energy is -3eV and the HOMO energy is 5eV. if it is possible, is the energy gap 8eV
I am really confused
Hope someone can help
Thanks
Rosie

Dear
Rosetta
;
NOT by its Definition!
But you may stress the definition for special exited states, ─ But what’s in such cases a Definition?
Good Luck!
