I have just signed up, and in browsing the forum (especially the Organic Chemistry section), I can see already that I will enjoy my stay! The collective knowledge here is outstanding.

Anyways, I'm a 24 year old, and finally I've decided to go to college. It took me this long to attempt because I've been unable to decide what to go for and didn't want to waste time and money as it seems many do. Over the past year I've been debating between majoring in physics or chemistry; while I'm "naturally better" with physics (at least in the high school AP levels), but for some reason I cannot shake the urge to study chemistry.

I hope my stay here is pleasant as I've had unfortunate outcomes with online communities in the past! Seems like a very reasonable place to spend time.
