just wondering what would happen if...

1. hydrochloric acid was placed in a test tube and was reacted w/ zinc, then a flaming splint was brought to the test tube and the test tube was filled with de-ionized water and the liquid was poured off into the sink

2. silver nitrate solution was placed into a test tube and reacted with copper



what would the changes in solution look like?
