Conduct Electricity?
« on: February 06, 2008, 08:39:17 PM »
6. Will the original solution conduct an electric current?

The original solution is copper sulfate pentahydrate, ethanol, and water.

I know that electrolytes conduct electricity, but how do I determine if this has electrolytes without knowing the molecular formula?

You have name, and thus the molecular formula.
