H NMR Spectrum of Melamine
« on: February 16, 2008, 02:03:44 AM »

Why is it that I am unable to get a H NMR Spectrum of Melamine (0.01 M solution in D2O? Melamine is completely soluble at this concentration.

Considering its structure, I'd suggest you get H/D exchange, like any amine or carboxylic acid..? http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Melamine&oldid=189812948

OT, is there a way to size images on the forum, I would have just posted the structure here from the wiki article, but it's huge.
