How many moles of krypton
« on: March 11, 2008, 11:08:09 PM »
Oxygen, krypton and xenon are in a tank and the total number of moles is 51. The partial pressure of oxygen is 50 kPa, the partial pressure of krypton is 75 kPa and the partial pressure of xenon is 80 kPa. How many moles of krypton are in the tank?

My solution: Total pressure is 205 kPa. It means 1 mol has 4.02 kPa
75 / 4.02 = 18.66 mol of krypton.

Is this correct? Thank you
