investigating the rates of substitution
« on: March 12, 2008, 04:30:59 PM »
You are investigating the rates of substitution of [Co(NH3)6]3+ with iodide and
thiocyanate anions in the lab and have plotted your measured rate constants as functions
of the concentration of incoming nucleophile (you used an excess of nucleophile). You
find that the slope of the thiocyanate data is twice that of the iodide and that both lines go
through the origin. What can you conclude about this substitution reaction?

Can someone help me  ???

Thank you
