Hi

When benzaldehyde and pyrrole is refluxed in propionic acid, meso-tetraphenylporphyrin (H2TPP) is the major product. But why is meso-tetraphenylchlorin (H2TPC) also formed? I'm clueless, so I could really use a hint here.
