If air contains 21% mole oxgen and at 25 degrees celscius then Henry's Law constant for oxygen in water is 1.23 x 10^-4 mol/ L-Atm, find the solubility of oxygen in water;
a) at sea level and,
b) in the mountains where the air pressure is 0.90 atmosphere
what is the solubility of oxygen?
I am stuck at s = (1.23 x 10^-4 mol/ L - Atm)(.21)(1.0 atm) = 2.58 x 10^-5 mole/L
Thank you so much for your time!
