hello,
i need some ferricinum hexafluoroarsenate for a synthesis, but we don't have some in the lab. we only have some PF6- ferricinium salt, can the PF6- be exchange to AsF6- by adding an large excess of hexafluoroarsenate salt to a ferricinium hexafulorophosphate soultion?or is absolutly necessary to convert ferricene to is salt with silver hexafluoroarsenate ( but we don't have in the lab...)?
