http://center.acs.org/periodic/tools/PT.htmlThis is a periodic table provided by ACS. Click on the electron configuration tab at the top. Then, find the elements of interest in the table and click them on and you can see the electron configuration for each.
Make sure you write out the electron configuration for each of the remaining elements.
Group 9 Tranisiton Elements:
Cobalt: Co
Rhodium: Rh
Iridium: Ir
Meitnerium: Mt
In order to relate the physical properties to their electron configurations use the following:

This link will also give you useful information regarding the chemical and physical properties for the Group 9 transition metals. Click on the elements in Group 9 of the table provided.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transition_metalsbased on the periodic trends and electron configurations try to assess the chemical behavior of the Group 9 transition elements.
