i am in the cosmetology industry and the latest rage/controversy is the keratin treatment/straightener which contains aldehydes... no one knows exactly which ones as the ingredients are not on the bottle, BUT the question everyone wants to know is WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE HEAT THESE ALDEHYDES TO 450 degrees F?  rumors are spreading throughout the industry, but no one really knows what they are talking about... should we all be wearing gas masks??
