Firstly, hello there...
I've joined this forum as im after a bit of advice. Im in the process of starting a small manufacturing business using recycled materials to make consumer products, it's very much in its infancy and im facing an annying problem currently.
One of the materials I use is old industrial printing blankets which contain the imprint of the last thing printed on them. This is wonderful as it makes my goods unique, however I need a way of sealing this in, whilst adding shine to the rubber so that firstly ink doesnt 'come off' and secondly to enhance the appearance. I've tried a variety of things ranging from car interior rubber cleaner, to spray on varnish sealer with varying degrees of success. What I feel I really need is a form of wax that adds shine and protection but im unsure if any special chemical additives would help? Or even if such a thing exists...
Any pointers greatly appreciated,
Regards,
Joshua
