Chromium and Aluminum Similarities
« on: May 13, 2008, 05:25:44 PM »
Chromium and aluminum have several chemical similarities.  Explain why one might expect them to be similar.

I know that both have a common oxidation state of +3, but I'm not even sure if this has anything to do with it.  Are there more similarities.  The lab that we were working with is related to coordination compounds.  Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
