Need Help ASAP, dangerous.
« on: May 21, 2008, 09:52:52 PM »
I recently had to clean my house with Bissel pet stain and odor remover, beacuse my new pets has been peeing inside alot. I used my steam cleaner, then sprayed some Scotch Guard pet stain guard on the floor. A day later, the house smells of Amonia, anything I can do?

could it be dangerous?

If you really had to clean your WHOLE house with it, that's crazy.  I'm pretty sure those types of things aren't meant for widespread cleaning...

Anyway, I would just say open the windows, vent it out.  If you are feeling light-headed, or any effects like those, try and go away for the day while the windows are open, but I wouldn't worry too much.

Well, I don't know these cleaners, but there is a possibility of the mixture being dangerous - if one is ammonia based and the other contains hypochlorite.
