Ionic Liquids synthesis
« on: May 28, 2008, 12:17:10 PM »
Hello, I'm confussed about the synthesis of ionic liquids, in the boock of Wasserchield & Welton, 2002, is a scheme with two routes for the preparation, one with lewis acids and the other bay methatesis, or bronsted acid-base. However in some papers  there is by methatesis and by acid-base reactions.
Please would you explain this to me??
